If you never experienced the freedom of swimming nude yourself, you can always look at other people having some wet fun. The Russian photographer Vadim Rigin made a series of underwater photographs of two women swimming, and playing, around nude. He achieved capturing the feeling of water against the skin and becoming one with nature, and the nice thing about underwater photography is that the images are always spontaneous and dynamical.
Vadim Rigin lives in Moscow, and works mainly as a commercial photographer. In his free work the nude is his subject, pure, almost classical model photography. The swimming nude series in the gallery show a more playful side of this photographer. The Swimming Nude series are featured on Met Art this month.
