Surfing my way trough the backyard of the Internet I stumbled on the first adult game ever made for the computer, Custer’s Revenge. The game was made in Sweden a country, besides our own, famous for adult entertainment and a liberal spirit.
Even in those old days back to the Atari 2600 ice age. We are talking 1983! The world was really shocked, all the women’s organizations protested and the Native American organization was really angry. How could they display Indians in such an indecent way and Atari was held responsible. We can hardly imagine all the fuss about a few pink pixels called an adult game, but heck, It was the first sex game ever.
The story of the game is easy, fight your way trough the Indian camp, find the Indian maiden tied to a pole and have sex with her. That’s a nice short story is isn’t it. Don’t worry we are not going to make retro adult games yet, but it’s nice to see the progress we have made in game graphics. But as always we are just standing on the shoulders from those before us :-)
A shame we can’t play the game anymore. I’m especially interested in the sound…
