After some technical background information in my previous article it is now time to look at an 3D artists and his work, Liam Kemp. The work of Liam is not typically erotic. He creates all kinds of 3D modeling work, erotic work is just a part of his portfolio.
Lian Kemp is trying to rebuild the real thing at the highest level possible. When you look at the girl images of Kemp the first impression you will have is that your looking at a photographic created image. An image of the perfect babe posing in front of the camera. But if you have a second look you will notice that everything is a little to well in shape, if such a thing is possible ;-)
In some way our eyes are trained in looking for small imperfections. And if we don’t experience any, and things are looking just perfect. There are some alarm bells ringing in our head telling us that what we looking at can’t be real.
The best way of imitating nature, an old trick from the book, is adding imperfections and randomness. That’s the reason why the talking girl Kaya works so well in imitating a real girl.
On the other hand, the perfect images of Liam Kemp get a beauty of there own. The soft light, the perfect female rounding the untouchable appearance do work very well. And that’s one of the mayor advantages of creating digital babes, you can sculpt them in the shape you want and create the ultimate girl. But notice that it is not an easy thing to achieve. Especially the skin on this model is marvelously done.
