What is it that makes the Anime thing such a successful concept, especially on-line. There are so many Anime porn sites and Anime art directories on the web, and it’s even one of the most search for terms in engines like Google. It’s time to dive in the Anime phenomena a second time, and this time I found two artists that are involved with adult Anime.
Anime background
The word Anime is basically just the Japanese term for “animation” or “cartoon”. The term did get it’s special meaning after the release of the Manga movies, animation movies intended for an adult audience, though is was especially popular among highschool kids. After this short background info on Anime it’s time to look at the work of two artists. The first one I would like to introduce is the Japanese artist Nyah, alias Junkie Doodle. For me, looking at the phenomena as an outsider, his work has a really different appearance then the usual or ‘normal’ adult Anime images. His characters are even more exaggerated, especially those big melancholic eyes, and they have a more intense expression. The girls in his work are mostly involved with bondage, sex , masturbation and of course each other. It’s the first time I actually looked at Anime images a second time, they are very good drawings and he is capable of giving his characters personality. He told me that his images are not very popular in japan, I wonder why, maybe it’s just because his work goes beyond the Anime borders and it’s not directly what people expect. But In my humble opinion they are good drawings, but again I’m not the typical audience and surely not part of the scene.
The second collection of Anime porn is from a studio with the name “Cutepet”, if you wonder where the name comes from, just look at their images in the gallery. Babes with all kinds of animal ears playing and fooling around. The images from Studio Cutepet have a rather high ‘fun’ factor and their drawings style is typical for this niche. More unusual are the angels, and a demon here and there, series. They have created all kinds of these ‘angel’ characters, female, male or a mixture of both. I guess this explains part of the popularity of Anime sex images, everything is possible.
