He continues about his work: ” He explores his personal sexual interest and desires trough various media, inspired by the beauty of lust and the vital, immediate art form of pornography ”
Most of the time artists don’t tell much about their work, mostly a few, if any, sentences that are quite general. But Mister is a man with a mission, he wishes to lift the curtains between art and pornography, or in his own words Raw Stag.
His painting style is naive, rather direct and explicit, couldn’t have been any different with such a statement I guess. If his work does not appeal to you directly, you should have a look at it a couple of times. I started to appreciate his work, especially the group paintings, after browsing trough his portfolio several times. His work definitely has something special, without having to much artistic pretensions and maybe that’s why I like it.
Did he achieved his goal in closing the gap between art and pornography ?, maybe, I’m not sure he does, but does it matter? The work of ‘Mister’ is something worth to explore, just enjoy some art pornography.
