Jacques Bourboulon started his career as a professional photographer in the late sixties, at first he worked mainly as a fashion photographer, but soon he devoted his photography entirely to the nude and it’s beauty. His work has been exhibited all around the world and he published several books with his erotic images. Bourboulon traveled a lot to gather and experience his muse, the wonderful light on the nude body.
He worked 12 years on the Spanish island Ibiza because of it’s perfect natural light, a large part of his pictures were taken during this period. A small selection of his ‘Ibiza’ images is presented in the gallery.
Met Art is featuring a very large collection of Bourboulon’s Ibiza period this month, a great tribute to this master of nude photography.
