Sexually charged and highly erotic

The writings about erotic art and photography are all coming form the same mind and I realize that’s quite a limitation, because it is just a personal point of view. That’s the reason to ask some artists that are featured on the Art of Love to select the work of an other artist and share their perception with us.

Most artist don’t like to talk much, they prefer visual communication, but luckily some artists responded positive and the first one that’s going to share her thoughts is Jaeda DeWalt.

William Santillo by Jaeda DeWalt

It was one specific style of imagery that drew me into Mr. Santillo’s, otherwise, sexually charged and highly erotic images of women and couples. Within this particular style his imagery of couples are whispery, intimate and there is the indication of motion and movement. These pictures aren’t so much explicit as they are extremely suggestive to what’s taking place. Soft and dreamy, his sensualistic stylings offered me an intimate glimpse of couples physically enjoying and partaking of each other.

I like the way he creatively obscures and blurs the more explicit aspects of lovemaking. I felt like a voyeur in the bedroom of two lovers as opposed to simply viewing images of two people screwing each other’s brains out. As a photographer, I found myself wondering what it would be like to photograph these couples. I imagine that just photographing them would be an intimate experience, in and of – itself. It is through these images, I had the chance to experience, the perfect union of sensuality and erotica.
