The idea of photographing nudes underwater is maybe not new, but I have never seen it done as beautiful as in these images of Alberich Mathews. It’s like entering a surreal underwater world, where the mermaids dance, and naked women swim freely.
The underwater effect is maximized by using colored fabrics to represent a tail or a couple of wings. Together with the movement of the water, the light and reflection, the effect is just marvelous.
