It’s a myth that erotica and nudity are considered normal in our culture, it’s still the domain of jokes, raised eyebrows and secret social interaction. On the other hand, we have voyeurism and exhibitionism, people who love to be out there naked, and who want to share themselves with the rest of the world. Manuel Laval plays with both concepts, he tries to normalize the way we experience Voyeurism and to look at this human aspect in a positive way.
He will have a performance show with this theme on Saturday 14 October, location Akt gallery Berlin. The performance consists of experimental movies, nude models moving around and some of his confronting photographs.
