The Erotic artist Manuel Laval has finished a performance project called ‘The Wall’. A nude male and female are performing in a theatrical setting with the Wall of Berlin in the background. This is really a flashback to the early seventies when performances were THE thing to do as an artist.
At the same time the great sexual liberation was one of the mayor cultural issues and we have seen, in performance art, naked people doing all kinds of stuff, like rolling in paint, or wrestling in the snow. But as always in art, and why should erotic art be any different there are always artist experimenting with these old concepts.
