Sex in Second Life – a sexy virtual life

After a short walk in the park, we looked for a more private place, where we started touching each other and finally we kissed. A Goth couple, that had the same idea I suppose, walked in our direction, disturbing our romantic moment, but it was time for some more action anyway. We teleported ourselves to a beach to continue our encounter, and yes we had some great sex, we even did some kinky bondage stuff, right there at the spot. Welcome to sex in Second Life, a place to meet new people, buy yourself a nice house and have plenty of sex, with as many people as you like.

I’m not planning to continue building a second life in this virtual world, for my addictive character it’s just to dangerous. World of Warcraft is consuming too much of my time already and to have an other online game sucking on my mind, wouldn’t be a good idea. But with all the buzzing around about the sexual side of this online game, I found the perfect excuse to dive in once, part of my job is to write about adult games, and this game meets the criteria, I can assure you. I found myself having sex on the beach, in a club, I’ve been to a striptease bar and had sex with multiple people in a small house in “virtual Amsterdam”. I even found myself attached to a sex machine, and all of this was achieved during only 3 hours of playtime, I did look incredibly handsome though :-)

Installation & game controls
The installation of Second Life is as easy as it gets, just sign up for a basic (free) account and download the client to you local machine. Besides the free accounts, there are some paid membership options, to receive Linden Dollars to spend inside the game. For my trial in Second Life I decided to stick with a free account and live on the freebies for a while. There are many ways to earn Linden dollars inside the game, if I limit the options to the erotic market, you could be a prostitute, let people pay for a striptease act, or create and sell sexual content you create yourself. There are some people making a living from creating and selling content inside the game world, the Linden dollars they earn can be exchanged for real world money on Lindex, Second Life’s official currency exchange.

it’s your Second Life
The game controls and camera movement is a bit confusing at first, I found myself flying around all the time, while I just wanted to move forward. It’s the same with the user interface, there are so many options present that it’s quite overwhelming and the structure is not always intuitive. At the starting location, there is a tutorial explaining the basic controls and game concepts. At this island, you also have the first opportunity to change your appearance, you can adjust your avatar with an enormous amount of sliders, from changing your hair color to the amount of body fat you would like to have. This endless customization is one of the biggest strengths of Second Life, you can make yourself (and the world around you) look like whatever you want. You like to be a round busted blonde babe? just go ahead, a nasty looking muscle man? well… do as you please, it’s your Second life after all.

Conclusion:
Second life is an endless virtual world with many things to explore. You can meet new people, talk to them and have virtual sex with them, in all variations you can, or can’t imagine. The customization of the avatar is setup nicely, everything is changeable so you can be whatever you want. The great drawback of the game are its graphics and animations, they are just outdated too much. The world is flat, and lacks atmosphere, something that current gamers are expecting from a computer game these days. But the social and sexual aspect of the game is unbeatable, but you have to use your imagination a lot, the world is to unrealistic to really emerge in it.
