Can architecture be erotic? Is such a thing possible? That’s my first thought stumbling on this image on Sexblo.gs. It’s a concept for a sex museum in Rio de Janeiro, a building dedicated to sex and it’s history, designed to represent a gigantic uterus. The architect responsible for this idea is Igor de Vetyemy, a young Brazilian architect.
The whole idea looks intriguing, mainly because of its organic shape and strange size. The fact that it’s a representation of a female organ does not makes it more, or less, erotic in my opinion. That brings me back to my initial thought, is there such a thing as erotic architecture?
